Powerful Features
The PSR-S970 is designed with two “Live Control” knobs, two audio control dials, and two pedal inputs to enhance the effects of your performance. Players can completely own their own stage with the features the PSR-S970 brings.
Also, DJ Styles are a new live performance concept, featuring a collection of chord progressions that eliminate the need for continuous chord changes with the left hand. Now you’ve got both hands free to play melody lines, use the Live Controllers, or even trigger additional external audio with the Multi Pads to add a unique flair to your performance.
Special effects
The PSR-S970 features Real Distortion and Real Reverb inherited from the legendary Tyros5, resulting in unprecedented, natural sound. Players can easily add and edit effect parameters through an intuitively appealing interface that gives you a sense of control over normal effects and lifelike amplification.

Yamaha simulates exclusive Virtual Circuitry Modeling (VCM) technology simulates special effects including phase correction and cut-off frequency.

Memory expandable up to 512Mb
In the previous PSR-S950 series, players could only install one expansion version. But with “Yamaha Expansion Manager” version 2.3, you can create expansion sets with Voices & Styles to your liking. 512Mb capacity from memory will satisfy the needs of installing expanders and even creating your own voice from your music library is no longer difficult. *(Download from Support button)

Unique Synth Vocoder and Vocal Harmony Features
